BioBusiness 2nd Workshop
On September 6th 2011, BioBusiness is hosting their second workshop in Brussels. The BioBusiness project is an EU-funded Marie Curie Initial Training Network that trains 11 biologically-educated PhD students in research, development, marketing and sales in the field of Precision Livestock Farming. Students will present the progress of their training and research on three projects: lameness detection in cows, aggression monitoring in pigs, and bio-responses in the incubation of broiler eggs.

ECPLF 2011
Following the tradition of the conference series that was established in Warwick in 1997, the international committee would like to invite you to join the 5th ECPLF conference. The conference will be held from 11th to 14th July 2011 at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, in the Czech Republic. This conference strives to provide researchers and professionals with the opportunity to build connections between and among different precision livestock farming areas.

The Congress will aim at giving emphasis to all recent, novel and innovative research on animal hygiene, animal health and welfare and sustainable livestock production. Special emphasis will be laid on the interaction of animal hygiene and veterinary public health.
